My name’s Cassidy George, and I came to see Dr. Robertson because I could not breathe out of my nose, and I snored really bad. I couldn’t breathe out of my nose at all, and I would have to leave the room whenever I would go spend the night with my friends because I would snore so bad. I couldn’t breathe out of my nose, and so we went to get a CT Scan, and Dr. Robertson saw that I had allergic fungal sinusitis, and that it was eroding away into my skull and my eye socket. I couldn’t smell anything so I couldn’t smell candles or food. And I played softball, so I would be out of breath a lot easier than the other girls. My surgery experience was good. I went in early, and after my surgery, I went home and slept a lot.
The results of the surgery have been good. I can smell a lot better now, and I don’t snore anymore. It’s changed my lifestyle because it’s a lot easier to play the sports that I play now because I can breathe so much better. The care that I received at Dr. Robertson’s office was amazing. I would definitely recommend someone else to go to Dr. Robertson if they had any type of nose problems.
The first and foremost thing was—I went deaf. So, I was pretty panicked. I’ve always had breathing issues and sinus issues. I developed sleep apnea and didn’t even know I had it. Since then, I’ve been rebuilt from the chin up to my eyes—pretty much a complete overhaul.
